MOTHER- A silent never ending presence.

When you were 1 year old, she fed you and bathed you,
You thanked her by crying all night long.

When you were 2 years old, she taught you how to walk...
You thanked her by running away when she called you.

When you were 3 years old, she made your meal with love.
You thanked her by tossing the plate on the floor.

When you were 5 years old, she walked you to your school.
You thanked her by screaming- I'm not going!

When you were 6 years old, she handed you an ice cream.
You thanked her by dropping it all over her lap!

When you turned 8, she drove you to the friends' Birthday party,
You thanked her by jumping out of the car & never looking back.

When you turned 9, she came back from work looking back,
You thanked her by getting busy on the internet.

When you were 10 years old, she wanted you not to watch certain videos,
You thanked by waiting till she got out of the house.

When you were 15 years old, she cried at your exams results..
You thanked her by partying till dawn.

When you turned 20 years old, she asked whether you are seeing anyone,
You thanked her by saying- it's none of your business.

When you turned 30, she called with some advice on baby,
You thanked her by telling-"things are now different!"

When you were 50 years old, she fell ill & needed you to take care of her,
You thanked her by saying-'parents are burden on their children.'

And one day, she quietly died...
& Everything you never did, came rushing down like a thunder on your heart.

When she is ill around; never forget to love her more than ever.
Remember her unconditional love & passion...

Always remember to that soul, who had never been selfish for your love in return...
Because you have only one mother in your life time!

Thanks you mummy... For being in my life, enlightening it with peace of your love and care.
